The fourth edition of Garment Show of India (GSI), a one of a kind b2b trade show to promote apparel retail business from north India by connecting suppliers and buyers looking for quality and reasonable pricing for garments, will be held from July 8-10 in New Delhi. The three-day event will be held in halls 8, 9, and 10 in Pragati Maidan. “This edition of GSI will focus on bringing not only retailers and retail chains from metros and major cities but also from small town and cities where the purchasing power is increasing everyday and latest trends in fashion remain in very high demand. We are looking forward to see more than 12,000 visitors in three-day exhibition from all over India including places like UP, MP, Bihar, J&K, Uttaranchal, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Haryana,” said Gagan Marwah, organiser of Garment Show of India. GSI 2019 will have special pavilions for men’s, ladies and kids wear. Manufacturers from textile clusters like Tiruppur, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Indore, Mumbai, Noida and many more apparel hubs will be participating in the event. Further, special focus and stalls will be allocated for innerwear, active wear, testing services, CAD / CAM, fashion accessories. The show will also comprise of networking conferences in order to help the retailers grab bigger business audiences and buyers. Sourcing teams of leading retail chains like Reliance Trends, Pothy’s, Chennai Silk, RMKV, Shoppers Stop, Westside, Walmart, Lifestyle, Landmark Group, Unik Bazar, Bazar India, V Mart, V2 Retail, Amazon, Jabong, Flipkart, Myntra, City Kart, Incense, Bindal Group, Aditya Birla Group (Pantaloons), Flipkart and many more have already confirmed their presence at the show.Concurrent events include an award show where retailers, manufacturers and retail chains will be facilitated for their power packed performance. There will also be a conference wherein experts from fashion, retail and e-commerce domains will throw light on India’s domestic retail industry—Opportunities & Threats. A fashion show will also be held to showcase latest designs and collections. Some of the product categories that will be on display will include kurtis, ethnic wear, coats, blazers, jackets, trousers, party wear, athletic wear, wedding wear, t-shirts, shirts, tops, dresses, skirts and many more in cotton, knitted and woven.
