Naogaon BSCIC produces 20,000 liters edible oil per day

Four auto oil mills under the Naogaon BSCIC Industrial City are producing around 20 thousand liters edible oil and 36 thousand kgs oilcake (khail) daily.

“The edible oil is being marketed in different parts of the country side by side with exporting those to neighboring India. The oilcake produced in the mills also meets the demand of animal feed at local level,” said a Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) press release.

Officer at the Naogaon BSCIC Industrial City Md Anwarul Azim said that the auto oil mills are being operated round-the-clock maintaining the health rules.

“The oil mills keep the supply chain for edible oil normal during the COVID-19 period,” he added.
